Case Study

Works involved the complete renovation of two floors of CAT A, which were undertaken sensitively so as not to disturb the day-to-day operation of the building's existing tenants. Close working relationship with the building's in-house maintenance and security teams were needed.

The works were completed to the highest standard and included the installation of new ceilings, new lighting, modifications to the existing mechanical systems, new raised floors, completely new toilet facilities and new architectural finishes throughout, including new finishes to the ground floor reception and works to create a new roof terrace.

Challenges

Conducting fit out works on multiple levels (3rd & 4th floors of CAT A, Reception, Roof Terrace and Basement) within a live tenanted building.

Solutions

Full project risk and mitigation strategy developed prior to works commencing on site that identified all the major issues ahead of them being a reality, ranging from cause and effect on building wide MEPH systems; logistics access routes noise and disruption; continuity of supplies and services; good neighbourly relations and communication; flexibility of delivery approach to review and adapt to change where required.
