Case Study

The project was over 7 floors, and began with a complete strip out exposing the existing structure, demolition works and structural alterations.

The scheme consisted of all new exposed M&E services, new lighting and controls, exposing of original brickwork, steelwork features and raised metal pan flooring. The works also included creating a new reception, with feature lighting, new WC facilities and basement cycle storage with shower rooms and enhancement to the staircase.

Challenges

Internal stripping of existing brick and cast iron envelope and structure to provide feature exposed surfaces finishes.

Solutions

Isolation of floors in sequence and the employment of extensive dust containment and suppression to ensure works could continue on all other floors.
